P. SEAN SAWYER, President/CEO

Since starting StarChase in 2001, Sean Sawyer has been active in every phase of its development with duties including: participating in the creation and filing of a joint patent for StarChase, co-authoring the business plan, raising seed capital in order to complete phase one Proof of Concept (POC) testing and providing ongoing business development. He is also responsible for technology research with emphasis on Global Positioning System (GPS), wireless carriers, polymer adhesives and delivery systems. As project manager, Sean implemented technology research and business planning for the successful phase one POC testing with strategic partners. Sean is also actively involved in contract negotiation with technology development partners, production sourcing and long-term funding development.
Background:
B.S. in Business Administration, East Carolina University, 1991. Sean spent eight years with NASCAR as a track promoter for “Richmond International Raceway” where he was responsible for marketing, sales and strategic relationship planning. Sean has over 15 years experience in consulting with various business entities as a manager of marketing and sales development. His strengths include product development, market planning and executing of short and long term marketing and sales strategies. He also has extensive knowledge in contract negotiation, strategic relationship management and working with national media outlets.

 

AMANDA MCCALL, Chief Operating Officer

Amanda has been acting as chief operating officer for StarChase since 2001. Her duties include: participating in the creation of a joint patent for StarChase, co-authoring /updating the business plan and supporting financial projections. She has also been actively involved in raising capital, developing a board, recruiting advisors and sourcing contracts/negotiations. Amanda has also worked collaboratively on technological development and the public relations/marketing launch of the system in core public safety and government markets. Most recently, she has been working with the management team on day-to-day operations as the company initiates their beta field trials and moves into commercialization.
Background:
M.B.A., The College of William & Mary, 1998, B.S. in Business Administration, Old Dominion University, 1990. Amanda is a management professional with more than 15 years experience in strategic planning, organizational development, team leadership and executive management. She worked extensively in the cable industry with TeleCable, Inc. and International Family Entertainment, Inc. (IFE). Those companies are now owned by AT&T and ABC. Amanda has five years of marketing and public relations experience for new brand and product launches and 10 years in development and operations; five of those were in the entertainment and non-profit sectors for IFE and Operation Smile, Inc.(OS)  respectively. Her duties as head of  international development at OS, included overseeing all aspects of development for each mission country including: board/volunteer development, hiring and managing regional and in-country staff , establishing infrastructure for each foundation, working collaboratively to develop the annual budget and monitoring grants and fund-raising goals. Her overseas development experience includes work in Latin America, Europe and some exposure in Asia.

 

TREVOR A. FISCHBACH,
Vice President Business Development and Sales

Trevor invented and patented a “Method and System for Tracking a Vehicle” (1998-2001). He then joined forces and transferred the patent to StarChase to further assist in the successful phase one (POC) development of the StarChase Tagging and Tracking Pursuit Management System. He is currently acting as vice president of business development and sales for StarChase. Trevor works closely with the StarChase team and advisors to identify, negotiate and build strategic partnerships and technology provider relationships. His duties include: all aspects of business development including the identification, qualification and positioning for new business opportunities across key markets (law enforcement and government). Trevor’s areas of focus include market development, contract sourcing and negotiation, teaming arrangements and overall management of customer relationships. His additional responsibilities include worldwide market development initiatives. Trevor’s overall efforts focus on extensive technology and market research to aid in the successful transition of StarChase from concept to a commercially viable solution.
Background:
B.S. in Psychology, California State University, Long Beach, 1992. Trevor’s professional career spans 12 years with companies such as AT&T and MCI. He has an extensive sales and network design background with focus in the areas of sales management, team building, contract sourcing and negotiations and project implementation. Trevor’s professional accomplishments include building and selling long-term network solutions for domestic and global Fortune 500 companies.
