ANNOUNCES NEW CEO
Will Guide Company in Commercialization of Technology in Law Enforcement
and Security Sector
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – May 10, 2010– StarChase LLC, a company specializing in tagging-and-tracking
pursuit-management solutions for the law-enforcement sector, announces the appointment
of Karen Jaffe as the company’s new CEO. She oversees all aspects of the
company’s financial performance, engineering, manufacturing, and product
and business development.
Jaffe brings to her position broad senior management experience. After a career
in banking as a Real Estate Finance Officer, she joined JCF, a real estate development
and investment firm in 1989. She also brings important leadership qualities, developed
from many years of serving on non-profit advisory boards, and establishing a family
service organization in Budapest, Hungary.
“As a proven leader in business planning, development and management, Karen
Jaffe brings outstanding credentials to StarChase,” said Mandy McCall, COO
of StarChase. “Her experience developing strategic visions and grants helps
our team move faster and proves especially invaluable as we continue to work collaboratively

for testing and implementation. She will be instrumental in leading our company
as we move into full commercialization of our technology.”

Jaffe has been and is currently an influential member of several boards, including
the National Board of the American Jewish Joint Distribution committee and the
Advisory Board of Heritage Bank, and has served on the boards of numerous local
and national Jewish non-profit organizations.
As an active participant in shaping the face of local politics, Virginia Governor
Tim Kaine appointed Jaffe in 2007 to serve on the Virginia-Israel Advisory Board.
Jaffe received a B.S. in Business Administration from Ithaca College.
